How do you say catty [spelled as kati in some countries] in Teochew? Well, I have thought everybody says catty as 斤 geng1 but however, the actor who plays Lim Dai Kim says it as ging1. I therefore had a little peep and found that Pouleng, DioIon, Huilai say ging1! Fancy this!
If there were no subtitles in the drama, I would be totally confused.
