Lots to discuss

 一大堆話 vs 厚堆話

A'Uang used the Teochew expression gao6 du2 uê7 instead of the standard Chinese expression zêg8dua7du2 uê7 to express he has a lot to discuss with his father,

Do you remember why it is better to say gao6 du2 uê7 instead of zêg8dua7du2 uê7?

zêg8dua7du2 uê7 一大堆一大堆

很多話很多话

gao6 du2 uê7 厚堆厚堆话

很多話很多话

You will hear A’Uang (the second son) saying:

Ua2 u6 gao3du2 uê7 ain3 gah8 A1Dia1 puêh8

我有厚堆話慾合阿爹詖

我有厚堆话欲合阿爹诐

I have a lot to discuss with father.

我有很多話要跟父親商量

我有很多话要跟父亲商量

Tone sandhi: Do remember that gao6 du2 uê7 - the tones are changed to gao(7) du(6) uê7 !

Also remember gao6 in Teochew does not just mean thick. It also mean lots of and in Mandarin, it only means thick.
