I have a feeling that “dung3 gao3 dig8 dig8 扽到直直” has a specific Teochew meaning
which Gang Hiog did not explain and I cannot find it my Teochew dictionaries.
Cêng7 gao3 cin1 cin1 can be translated as “dresses distinctively gorgeously” or “dresses smartly”.
