YouTube sent me this song this morning and I really like it very much and I have typed out the lyrics in Chinese so people can enjoy singing along with the video.
I will write out the Romanised Teochew soon.
The title of this song is gu3hion1 si6 Dio5suan1 and it means my homeland is Teochew.
Our people in homeland calls our ancestral hometown as Dio5suan1 - where Dio5 is from Teochew and suan1 is from Swatow but it does not mean Teochew and Swatow - it means the whole region from Teochew to Swatow, from Swatow to Swabhue and from Swabhue to Gig'Ion.
