How do we write kah4 zoi7? 太多 in Mandarin. Too much or too many in English
If you were to read Lim Lung Lung 林倫倫 he would say write it as 𠹛㩼
and if you were to read Dio Hiao Sang 張曉山 he would say write it as 佮㩼
For those Teochew people who come and read my post to learn English - too much means you cannot count - like too much rice and too many are for items which you can count like cars too many cars.
Dio Hiao Sang wrote that kah4 𠹛 would be a replacement of the Mandarin 可
For an example:
Gian6 muêh8 kah4si6 u6ian2 a1 bho5? 件物𠹛是有影阿無? |
Is this thing for real? |
這東西可是真的嗎? |
