belittle bully

This is an interesting video uploaded by Allan Tan from Singapore. It teaches a common saying and you need these notes to understand the video. The speaker became too lo1so1 囉嗦 and I lost patience in writing down what she was saying about the story pertaining to this common saying.

Lo1so1 囉嗦 means long-winded. When I was young, I heard it said in other Chinese language as 長氣。

Few points: tioⁿ2m6giⁿ3 does not mean blind; bag4 character in simplified form cannot be found.

The most important thing to learn from this video is 孬睇輕人唔𧧸字 孬欺負人睇唔見 mo2 tioⁿ2king1 nang5 m6bag4 ri7 mo2 ki1hu6 nang5 tioⁿ2m6giⁿ3 which means "do not belittle people who are illiterate; do not bully people who cannot see."

tioⁿ2m6giⁿ3 is normally said as tioⁿ2m6dioh4 for cannot see or cannot be seen

to be blind is normally said as cêⁿ1mêⁿ5 and a blind person is normally said as cêⁿ1mêⁿ5giaⁿ2
