Teochew Store released a video on basic Teochew and one of the words it covered is thunder.
I know there is tendency for some people to speak Mandarin Teochew and say the sound of thunder as hiang2lui5 or pah4lui5 but we have our own word which is lui5gong1 hiang2. Please see below.
If you were to read your Teochew dictionary, you will find that thunder is called as lui5gong1 雷公.
Just to summarise: Thunder is called lui5gong1 雷公. The sound of thunder is called lui5gong1 hiang2 雷公響｜雷公响 and lightning is called lui5gong1 nih4mag8 雷公𥍉目
