Questions

These are pairs of characters which can be used as question particles. The last column shows the Mandarin equivalents. 

si6 是	mi6 [不/是]	si6 a1 mi6 是阿[不/是]	shi4bu4shi4 是不是
u6 有	bho5 無	u6 a1 bho5 有阿無	you3mei2you3 有沒有
ain3 欲	mai3 勿	ain3 a1 mai3 欲阿勿	yao4 bu4yao4 要不要
oi6 會	bhoi6 𠁞	oi6 a1 bhoi6 會阿𠁞	hui4bu4hui4 會不會
ho2 好	mo2 孬	ho2 mo2 好孬	hao3bu5hao3 好不好

There are others like hiao2 a1 m6haio2 曉阿唔曉 which have not included and has the same meaning as oi6 a1 bhoi6 會阿𠁞

si6 a1 mi6 是阿[不/是]	Use when one wants a yes or no; is or is not answer
u6 a1 bho5 有阿無	Use when one wants a have or have not answer; Do you have X or not? Is there or is there not? Yes no answer
ain3 a1 mai3 欲阿勿	want or does not want
oi6 a1 bhoi6 會阿𠁞	Can or cannot? Is able or unable?
ho2 mo2 好孬	Is this alright? Is it okay?

 Examples of use:

Le2 aiⁿ3 ziah8 a1 mai3? 汝欲食阿勿 ? Do you want to eat? In Mandarin: 你要不要吃 ?

Zi2zung5 ziah8 ho2 mo2? 只陣食好孬 ?  Shall we eat now? In Mandarin: 現在吃好不好 ?

Le2 u6 ke3 zioⁿ6ci6 a1 bho5? 汝有去上市阿無 Did you go to the market to buy groceries or not?  In Mandarin: 你有沒有上集市買東西?
