nim3 [氵|孚/冗]

We have a Teochew word, found in both Lim Lung Lung and Dio Hiao Sang dictionaries, which is nim3.

In Lim Lung Lung's dictionary, page 107, you will find how he explains nim3.

I added the Mandarin word fu2chen2 浮沉 into my notes but to come to think of it, nim3 is a lot more than than the Mandarin word fu2chen2 浮沉

I have not been able to find the encoded character for nim3.

Do not get confuse with nim3 as in ah4 bho2 nim3 鴨母𥺴|鸭母𥺴   a kind of Teochew dessert which looks like tangyuan 湯圓

nim3 [/]

to sink and emerge

fu2chen2 浮沉

People or objects in the water, half floating, half sinking.

人或物件在水裡半浮半沉著。|人或物件在水里半浮半沉着。

I1 do6 zui2 doin2 nim3 ia7 nim3  伊在水底[/][/]

He is half sinking half floating in the water.
