Mandarin: 你不要聽起來覺得怪怪的|你不要听起来觉得怪怪的

You do not want to think it sounds rather strange.

There are many meanings for hiao5 and in this usage, hiao5 means strange.

Hiao5 can have the following meanings: trilling, to go courting as explained by 野遊|野游 and 冶遊|冶游

Hiao5 can also mean to amuse or interesting etc.
