天頂飛雁䳘
Mr Quek from Singapore has just uploaded a nursery rhyme sung by children from Swatow – the title in English means wild geese flying in the sky. Ngang6gho5 雁䳘 means wild goose.

The subtitles wrote tig4to5 as 逷迱 and
technically there are no confirmed characters for tig4to5. Even Professor Lim does
not know what the correct characters are. In Taiwan they write tig4to5 as 𨑨迌
As for o1lo2 呵咾
to mean to admire, the subtitles write 呵惱 and
the lo2 here is from huang5lo2 煩惱 meaning to worry. I think the Taiwan’s characters 呵咾 are
very appropriate for o2lo2.
There is also another Teochew expression
“lah8lah8so1” 躐躐趖 and the subtitles use the lah8 from lah4dah4
邋遢 [unkempt]
and the so1 from so1zung5 梭船 [shuttle boats]. The characters for lah8lah8so1 can be found in
Zhang Xiao Shan’s 2nd Edition dictionary on page 911 and is
explained as 遊手好閑無所事事到處閑蕩的樣子 which can be translated as “in a manner of having nothing to do, idling one’s
time away, leisurely moving around everywhere”.
