Teochew heroes' song and dance

I like to share with you a video of our Teochew custom [Dio5ziu1 hong1sog8] in which young men dance on the streets [êng1go1bhu2] holding truncheons [êng1go1bhu2 tui5] and beating them to a rhythm.

We have had this social custom to dance this êng1go1bhu2 since the Ming Dynasty and particularly in 潮陽 Dio5ioⁿ5.
