He feeds the cuckoo with 泥鰍 which is loach or mud fish found in rivers or

is called in Teochew? It has several names and I am listing them for you.
tou5niu1 塗𩽤
tou5liu1 塗鰡
hou5liu1 鰗鰡 [Hokkienpeople in Taiwan also call mudfish 鰗鰡]
ni5ciu1 泥鰍
ni5 and tou5 mean mud and earth respectively
In the video title, you will notice the characters 猛禽
which mean a bird of prey and according to Lim Lung Lung, 猛
could be said as either mên2 or mêng2 and therefore a
bird of prey should be called mêng2kim5 in Teochew Uê.
Do you remember the word 禽獸
kim5siu3? It means a wild animal or beast and it is also a word of abuse to
scold people who are very cruel or inhuman.
