A non Teochew learning our mother tongue . . .

This Teochew language teacher is teaching Teochew with a Teochew City accent. As Swatow accent is the standard use in Teochew dictionaries, I will have a column for those who want to use your dictionaries to check the list of words.

This teacher then goes on to teach the young lady how to say the first two lines of the rap. I have written down notes below to assist you to be able to learn with the lady.

ah4bho2nim3 is a Teochew dessert which is like 湯圓 tangyuan.
