raw lobster

In this video Iab Hui prepares a dish which is called cêⁿ1 iam1 lêng5hê5 生醃龍蝦｜生腌龙虾

This character 生 can be said as:

cên1	cên1mag8 生目	referring to unfamiliar things or events
sên1	sên1rig8 生日	birthday
sêng1	hag8sêng1 學生｜学生	student

And in this case cêⁿ1 means raw.

iam1 means marinate or marinated and older Teochew people will call it lou6 鹵｜卤 like lou6 giam5cai3 鹵鹹菜｜卤咸菜 to pickle salted vegetable

lêng5hê5 means lobster

cêⁿ1 iam1 lêng5hê5 生醃龍蝦｜生腌龙虾 means “marinated raw lobster”

ua2 li7 m6gan2 ziah8 cên1 lêng5hê5

我哩唔敢食生龍蝦。

I do not dare to eat raw lobster.

我就不敢吃食生龍蝦。

The Teochew word for siao2si5 [hour] is diam2zêng1 點鐘｜点钟
