Muêh8 物 is our Teochew “bhuang7lêng5 dong6se5 萬能動詞｜万能动词” multipurpose verb. For example, one could say, “le2 lo2 muêh8 mih4gai5 汝裸物乜個” to mean what are you doing?

I thought of muêh8 is because it is also a “bhuang7lêng5 miaⁿ5se5 萬能名詞｜万能名词”a multipurpose noun.

In this video, the wife incorrectly thinking that her husband wanting a hug and her husband asked her what was she thinking and he wanted her to carry a bag. A hug and carry in Teochew could be said as “po6 抱”.
