To be familiar with something is said in Teochew Uê as sêg8sêg4 熟悉 and because of tone sandhi it is actually said as sêg(4)sêg4.

“Sih8 buh4 sah8 nah4” could also mean someone talking rubbish and some Teochew people would have said suaⁿ2 si3 daⁿ3  散四呾。
