Pitch dark - How do you say this in Teochew?
I heard such an expression this morning and I thought I would share it with you.
bang5lai6 ou1tin1 am3di7 tion2m6gin3 房內烏天暗地睇唔見 房内乌天暗地睇唔见 | The room is pitch dark, unable to see. | 房間昏天黑地看不見｜ 房间昏天黑地看不见 |
I would have said tion2m6dioh4 睇唔著 for being unable to see but there are many ways to skin a cat.
