趣味潮汕話 - Interesting Teochew words
If I were to say to you "ho2 seng2 好耍" what does this mean to you? It means something which is fun and interesting, perhaps amusing. 好玩 in Mandarin.
Do you also know there is another word hiaon5 which has the same meaning?
And there is another - cu3bhi7 趣味 !
So which character would you assign to hiaon5?
BTW: hiaon5 has many other meanings. Some people nasal hiao and some people do not.
