Most Teochew people would have forgotten what zang5 means. It means to splash.
For example: zang5êg8 漴浴 and perhaps most people say soi2êg8 洗浴 nowadays.

to take a shower |
chong1liang2 沖涼|冲凉 lin2yu4 淋浴 |
I heard Iab Hui 業飛 a chef from Swatow 汕頭 using this word zang5.
He said "zang5 zêg8 guê3 zui2" which means to rinse.

沖一遍水 |
Let us not forget old Teochew words which our ancestors use. I am not asking you to use them, but to remember them.
Guê3 zui2 has another meaning. I heard it used twice in as many days. It means to blanch in boiling water.
