Soon after 2:03, Ziao’ciu Sim called her second born “la2gian2”
and I imagine it is written as 剌仔 and
she said ai7ia1 gai5 la2gian2 zing1sig8 ke3 哎呀個剌仔真實去。 –

What is interesting is that the Teochew people in SE Asia call
the indigenous people of Malaysia as la2gian2 as well. I often wonder which la2 character they would use?
I have chosen that la2 剌 character because the tribes of West Mongolia were called 瓦剌 during the Ming Dynasty. Malacca was also known as 滿剌加 during the Ming Dynasty.
However, on page 45 of Zhang Xiao Shan’s 2nd Edition dictionary, he writes mo2la2 or nao1la2 孬剌 to mean 故意便壞跟人過不去 deliberately becoming bad and do not get along with others. The dictionary did not specify if 孬 is said as mo2 or nao1.
When typing up the characters, did the typist type 便壞 incorrectly but actually meant to type 變壞 ? Both have the same PinYin!

ga1ceng1 尻倉 means anus, bum
So, what does ria2 lang6 rib8 ga1ceng1 actually mean? It means "to ask for trouble" as defined by the Mandarin expression 自找麻煩。
The polite way of saying 自找麻煩
is ga1gi7 cuê7 muan5huang5 家己覓麻煩｜家己觅麻烦。

I wonder if you have heard these derisory terms of abuse before. I heard in a video recently, a person calling another person cao3log8 臭録｜臭录 and cao3 means smelly and log8 means to be lacking, to fall short of, deficient and the dictionary explains that these terms describe bad ladies as in the Mandarin 壞女人｜坏女人 and we say 壞女人｜坏女人 in Teochew as mo2 ze1nion5 孬姿娘。

When I was young, I often heard people using the term hiao5log8 and I never knew the meaning of hiao5log8.
I have heard of cam2log8 and cao3log8 while watching Teochew videos. I was sad that the subtitles did not translate the meaning of these terms.
Zhang Xiao Shan's second edition dictionary, page 468, lists cao3log8 and suê1log8 and describe these as bad women.
