Return to China

I have been studying these lyrics of the song Huê Deng’sua 回唐山 and learnt much from this experience.  You can listen to this song on YouTube.

I typed the lyrics from a song sheet which comes with the CD.  However, there were three mistakes in the song sheet.

  1. on the sixth line the singer sings ma'hung and in the song sheet it writes pu'hung 浮云 I have taken a guess to what this ma'hung is.  I am sure the hung in this ma'hung is this hung 魂 However, I have difficulties with this ma character and I think he shorten the mang to ma as in 梦.
  2. Then there is the case of uang'hung on 7th line and the lyrics in the song sheet writes as 缘份 However, this uang'hung is a standard Chinese word and it should be written as 缘分
  3. on the 10th line, the singer sings "sung'huang sung'zui" but the song lyrics just write 顺风水 and I have amended it accordingly to 顺风顺水
There is much formal Diosua Uê in this song and it will help you improve your Chinese as well as your Diosua Uê.

Then in simplified characters
