Dudu wrote in Mandarin “堵不住” because she wanted to use a Teochew word “du2m6duê3 堵唔綴｜堵唔缀” which means cannot bear it – for example ruah8 gao3 du2m6duê3 熱到堵唔綴｜热到堵唔缀 – hot until cannot bear it.
Do notice her mother is unable to say 熱 in Mandarin!
In Mandarin, to say it is too hot and cannot bear it, one could say 太熱了忍不住
